# Rule for a new full inspection after a change — document RK-3

## Scope

The rule applies when a change in manufacturing may affect properties that have already been tested and approved.

## Lead time

A new full inspection normally takes **five weeks** from the time the change has been approved.

The time **cannot be shortened** without the customer’s written approval that fewer tests are carried out.

## Exceptions

An exemption from full requalification may be granted in an individual case after a joint decision by the Quality Manager and the customer. The exemption applies only to the product configuration and occasion covered by the decision.
