KESTREL MK2 — GLOSSARY Sub-agent A bounded instruction with a recurring purpose, its own data responsibility and clear boundaries. Source ID The document's short reference, for example A08 or C07. Use the ID to make a claim traceable. Data responsibility Responsibility for using the right sources, checking their status, and making gaps or contradictions visible. Mandate What a sub-agent may do within its instruction. The mandate also states what requires human handling. Autonomy Which checks or preparations the sub-agent may perform without a human approving every step first. Human approval A decision or consent that must be given by a named human or function, not by the sub-agent. Stop Do not let the workflow proceed when a requirement, input or mandate is missing. Hand over A clear transfer of the result to the next responsible person or function, with any open questions visible. Formal decision point A specified time when the program must show that mandatory conditions are fulfilled in order to proceed. Thermal qualification test A temperature test used to show that a product meets specified requirements. Quality deviation A documented case where a requirement is not followed or where a temporary deviation is being considered. Mk1 and Mk2 Two generations of Kestrel.
