KESTREL MK2 — GLOSSARY

Sub-agent
A bounded instruction with a recurring purpose, its own data responsibility and clear boundaries.

Source ID
The document's short reference, for example A08 or C07. Use the ID to make a claim traceable.

Data responsibility
Responsibility for using the right sources, checking their status, and making gaps or contradictions visible.

Mandate
What a sub-agent may do within its instruction. The mandate also states what requires human handling.

Autonomy
Which checks or preparations the sub-agent may perform without a human approving every step first.

Human approval
A decision or consent that must be given by a named human or function, not by the sub-agent.

Stop
Do not let the workflow proceed when a requirement, input or mandate is missing.

Hand over
A clear transfer of the result to the next responsible person or function, with any open questions visible.

Formal decision point
A specified time when the program must show that mandatory conditions are fulfilled in order to proceed.

Thermal qualification test
A temperature test used to show that a product meets specified requirements.

Quality deviation
A documented case where a requirement is not followed or where a temporary deviation is being considered.

Mk1 and Mk2
Two generations of Kestrel. Experience from Mk1 does not automatically apply to Mk2.
