Test resources
The mandatory temperature test is carried out in the large temperature chamber, which in the
booking system is called TK-2.
The test requires four consecutive days in the chamber: one day for run-in and stabilization,
two days for the sequence itself, and one day for cooling and disassembly.
The large TK-2 chamber is the only chamber that can handle the entire test. The reserve chamber, called
TK-1, is too small and cannot reach the lowest required temperature.
Booking
Rig time is booked through the Test Department. Booking is done by term and confirmed in the
Test Department’s weekly bulletin.
Conditions
• The unit must be delivered and approved in incoming inspection no later than two weeks before test start.
• The test cannot be split into stages.
