Kestrel Mk2 is the next generation of Asterholm’s electronics module for signal processing. Compared with the previous generation, Mk2 has a changed design, new temperature requirements and a wider qualification scope, which is why the programme runs a full qualification effort. The central component, the Kestrel unit, is manufactured by Nordvind Systems AB; Asterholm Teknik integrates the unit into the system, leads the testing and coordinates the work toward customer acceptance.

What is contractually binding
The contract (D07) ties the delivery commitment to the formal decision point in week 49. Demonstrations carried out before that point are not contractual milestones.
